Typhoon #rock!

Jr. is nearing the age of 2 months, and things are messy and unpredictable as ever. He's smiling quite a bit now. It tends to come at times when he's soiling his nappies, so he's probably going to grow up to be a right evil thing. He's sleeping well at nights, though, which is good for me and my wife. We tend to get about 5 or 6 hours of solid sleep each night nowadays. This probably suits my emerging C2 addiction quite nicely.

Musicwise, really rocking out to The Fall of Troy at the moment. It took about 4 months for the CD to turn up from Amazon (JP), but it was well worth the wait. I never thought I'd listen to something where half of the lyrics are screamed at you, but the riffs are so fantastic, and the resulting contrast is quite fascinating. Also promising much rock is Missing Score, a young band from Chicago. Listen to their demos! Lots of new music has been doing the rounds recently too, with lots of listening time going to the new Beastie Boys, Sparta, Sasha LPs among others.

Work is in a funny state at the moment. I've been busy as hell for the past month, with a clearing starting to show now. Plenty of people around me are quitting lately, too. So many of the faces around me have changed since I started here, it's almost a different company, but still I'm doing the same old work. It's certainly got me thinking about my immediate future, anyway. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not. The world could do without people being so "revolutionary" sometimes - just follow the crowd and do what you're supposed to do like a good, little boy. I just don't know right now.
